Farnum family concert tonight at Northview Center

The Doling History Museum hosts a concert with the Farnum Family Thursday, June 27, at the Northview Center, 301 E. Talmage. The concert is from 7 to 9 p.m.

Admission is $2 at the door, $1 for children ages 10-16, and free for children age 10 and under. A collection will also be taken up for the performers during the concert.

The Farnum Family, from Galena, Missouri, has been performing around the Branson area for years, including the annual Bluegrass and BBQ Festival at Silver Dollar City. Norm and Trish Farnum began sharing their unique combination of bluegrass, gospel, old-time and western styles of music with the public, and now they are joined by their seven children. The family of nine plays a variety of instruments including an upright bass, mandolin, guitar, harmonica, fiddle and the banjo.
