Final Fun Family Fishing is Friday, Aug. 2

The Springfield-Greene County Park Board hosts the last Fun Family Fishing Night of the summer Friday, Aug. 2, 6-9 p.m. at Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park, 3825 W. Farm Rd. 146. This final fishing night is special because all participants are allowed to keep their own catch.

Fun Family Fishing Night lets all members of the family enjoy an evening at the farm and fish in the pond. For the final event of the season, all participants may keep their catch. Each participant may catch and keep up to five channel catfish (10" or larger,) three largemouth bass (6"or larger,) and eight bluegill (4" or larger.)

Fun Family Fishing Night is $5 per person at the entrance, and includes poles, bait and tackle. Children age 2 and under are free. The evening includes a chance to ride the Cow Train, play in the bounce house, and relax by the bonfire.
