Welcome to the City of Springfield, Missouri's Department of Workforce Development, housed at the Missouri Job Center. The Missouri Job Center is located at 2900 E. Sunshine, with satellite offices at 1126 N. Broadway inside The Fairbanks Community Hub, and 2720 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway in Branson.

Our goal is to connect people to jobs, and we accomplish this goal in a variety of ways working with both job seekers and employers to help bolster the local workforce through short-term trainings, workshops and job connection. We serve the seven-county Ozark Region, which encompasses Greene, Christian Dallas, Polk, Stone, Taney and Webster counties in southwest Missouri.

Whether you are looking for your first job or you are wanting to make a career change, we can help steer you in the right direction. Our East Sunshine location is a one-stop which provides a multitude of services under one roof. Our partners in the building include the State Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development, Equus Workforce Solutions, Legal Services of Southern Missouri, Penmac, Adult Education and Learning through OTC, HUD, Vocational Rehabilitation, OACAC and the Springfield-Greene County Health Department WIC Program.

When visiting the Job Center you can take advantage of several services we provide to job seekers including a computer resource area to job search, phone and fax machines, setup for virtual interviews, the Career Closet and a staff of Workforce Development Specialists who can help guide you through our job search engine MoJobs. We also host on-site hiring events with multiple employers, both indoor and outdoor, as weather permits.

I invite you to learn more about the Missouri Job Center by browsing our pages on this website and following us on social media through Facebook, Twitter and Linked In.
