"About five months ago, I was let go from my job due to not having enough work. I went and applied for unemployment. Got it followed all the steps. and I would like to tell you, I would do my four-week reporting I want you to know I never had to wait to get in. Some always greeted me with a smile, and was most helpful all the way through this difficult and rough time. Wayne was very helpful with getting resume ready and knew all the right things for me to do. Just like everyone I have had a chance to meet in your office. Helpful, friendly, with a strong desire to see everyone find a job. I was pretty down and had applied to every job I could find. I got interviews here and there, nothing to speak of. I found out about your Mercy job fair on Facebook. I went, got interviewed and landed the job I was wanting. Just wanted to let you all know how thankful I am to each and every one of you. It's a rough road out there. It seems to be all uphill at times. But it sure was nice to be treated with a smile and kind helpful words and being directed in the right path to success. Warmest thank; you are a blessing to all who walk through those doors."

"In September of 2011 my job of 35 years was eliminated at a local manufacturing facility in Springfield. I was devastated and in total shock. When I entered to Career Center, I took a good look around to see that I wasn't the only person that was dealing with the same feelings. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. They soon signed me up for classes and helped me start believing in my self ipeople that have disabilities to find employment. It is very rewarding and makes me very proud. Thank you, Missouri Career Center for guiding me to my dream job and career."
