Sunshine Law

The State of Missouri's Sunshine Law deals with the public's access to government meetings, records, votes, action, and deliberations of public governmental bodies. The City Clerk is the custodian of records for Springfield. This includes the requirement to post public meetings and to respond to requests for the city's records within 3 business days after a request is received.
