Freedom From Smoking was developed by the American Lung Association has been helping people quit smoking for more than 30 years. One of our trained facilitators leads a small group through a six-week step-by-step plan to quit smoking. Each session is designed to help smokers gain control over their behavior.

The Freedom From Smoking program is designed for people who are ready and willing to quit. That doesn’t mean it’s easy—even those who want to quit often find it very difficult to do so. Participants in this program will receive personalized attention and benefit from the support of a small group of peers, who are going through the same stages at the same time.
