The second annual Employability Summit was held at The Old Glass Place on October, 20, 2016. The summit kicked off with a surprise visit from Governor Jay Nixon announcing Greene County as a Certified Work Ready Community, then focused on creating an inclusive workforce by looking at an applicant's strengths and abilities over a disability.

The Employability Collaborative partnered with the Springfield Area Human Resource Association (SAHRA) for the 2016 Summit. If you would like more information about SAHRA, click here to be taken to their website.
