What’s something you’ve learned since working for the City?

There are a lot of friendly people working here in the City. We have more in common with each other than you think! It’s exciting to contribute and be a part of change-making conversations. Don’t be afraid to share your thoughts with your co-workers. Be brave!

Why do you do what you do?

I love people, wildlife and nature. All of these things have such a huge impact on each other and desperately need champions to work and protect the quality of life for all living things on earth. As a water quality technician, I have the passion and knowledge to protect our area streams so life can thrive.

What’s the best part of your job?

Seeing people spend time and money protecting our streams and preserving trees.

What are you passionate about?

I’m passionate about connecting with people and creating a culture and environment in which we all feel healthy, peaceful and jovial. I’m passionate about people understanding we are all part of nature, and we aren’t exempt from nature’s causes and effects.
