Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal Public Health Emergency declaration allowed for recipients of Medicaid to be automatically reenrolled without having to complete the eligibility determination process. On March 31, 2023, this continuous reenrollment ended. All Medicaid recipients, including children, must be redetermined for eligibility by the anniversary of when their Medicaid coverage first began in order to avoid a disruption in their coverage. For some in Missouri, this will be as soon as June 2023. While the Missouri Family Support Division (FSD) will be reaching out to enrollees with information on renewal, if your contact information has changed or you have moved, they may not be able to reach you. If your contact information or address has changed, you will need to notify the FSD as soon as possible. You can do this:
