South-Central Region: Case managers for this region will be reaching out to you to set times and dates for processing. Please complete the requirements of the following guidance.

Southeast Region: Case managers for this region will be reaching out to you to set times and dates for processing. Please complete the requirements of the following guidance.

What must be completed prior to meeting with case manager:

  1. Create or update your profile on the www.jobs.mo.gov website. This site is referred to as “MoJobs” and is the system used to document required steps for training.
  2. Complete the “Background Information” section which includes your Education History; Occupational Licenses, Certificates and Training; and Employment History.
  3. While on the MoJobs site, please create a resume going back 10 years (or however long you have worked if less than 10 years). To do that, go to Resume Builder by clicking on the “Create New Resume,” tab. Title your resume with your name. (If you select the "Quick" button under the Comprehensive Creation Method, the system will populate most of the required information from the answers you already provided in the Background Information section.) Be sure to answer all the questions that have a red asterisk. The only question that you need to answer without the red asterisk is the hourly wage from your last employer.
  4. Finally, be sure to save your information by clicking on the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen.

What you need to bring to an orientation:

If your region hosts an in-person orientation, please bring your driver’s license, which will provide proof of age and residency within the Good Jobs Challenge service area, and a copy of your resume.

What you can expect:

An in-person orientation will cover a brief overview of the industry sectors, verification of registration requirements and completion of required forms. (Verify if your region is hosting an orientation.) Those who have completed the online portion of this requirement prior to attending will be processed more quickly than those who have not. If you have any questions regarding the grant, please bring them with you to the orientation.

Thank you again for your application! We look forward to assisting you with your training in your chosen career path.
