CLEAN FILL

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources is very specific about the type of material that can be considered clean fill. Uncontaminated soil, sand, gravel, concrete, cinder blocks, asphalt and brick can be brought to the landfill at no cost. Upon arrival at the landfill, scale house staff will verify the material as acceptable clean fill and then direct customers to the clean fill deposit area.

Landfill staff use these materials in a variety of ways, including temporary daily cover, construction of new landfill sections and building haul roads for landfill operations.
