A special ordinance authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to accept a pass-through Trade and Economic Transition-National Dislocated Worker Grant in the amount of $154,000 from the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development to create a registered apprenticeship training model; to enter into necessary agreements to carry out the grant; amending the budget for the Department of Workforce Development for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 in the amount of $154,000 to appropriate the grant funds; and declaring that this bill qualifies for approval in one reading.
