SPD to host Neighborhood Watch training
Springfield, Mo. – The Springfield Police Department’s Community Services Section is hosting two Neighborhood Watch training opportunities in April. It is free and open to the public.
Sessions include:
- April 4 from 6-8 p.m., at the Springfield Police Department’s Mill Building (216 W. Central).
- April 10 from 6-8 p.m., at the Missouri Career Center (2900 E. Sunshine).
The training is geared toward existing Neighborhood Watch groups and those wishing to establish a program. Neighborhood Watch guidelines have recently changed and will be addressed in the training.
While the training is free, those wishing to attend need to reserve a seat by emailing Officer Lauren Witty at [email protected].
