Springfield Environmental Services and the Springfield Art Museum are teaming up to host a free, family-friendly Earth Day event, 1-5 p.m., Saturday, April 22 at the Springfield Art Museum (1111 E. Brookside Drive).
Families will learn about environmental stewardship and sustainability while discovering new ways to make toys from trash.
The film “Toy Story 4” will begin in the Art Museum auditorium at 1 p.m. as part of the Environmental Services department’s “Enviro Flick” movie screening series. Various make and take toy and activity stations will be available indoors at the Art Museum until 5 p.m.
The event and activities are offered at no charge. Toy Story 4 is rated G.
