MEDIA ALERT: Clean Green Springfield Tire Toss and Jordan Creek Cleanup Saturday, May 6

MEDIA ALERT

The City’s Clean Green Springfield city-wide cleanup and beautification initiative is hosting two events on this weekend on Saturday, May 6. 

Tire Toss:

The City’s Clean Green Springfield initiative is hosting a Tire Toss 7 a.m. – 2 p.m., on Saturday, May 6 at 404 N. Jefferson in downtown Springfield. Residents are invited to recycle up to 8 tires per household at no cost. Rims must be removed.     

Jordan Creek Point of Pride litter cleanup:

Volunteers are needed to help cleanup litter in and around the Jordan Creek as it passes through downtown Springfield. Join the City’s Clean Green Springfield initiative from 9 a.m. – noon, Saturday, May 6 for a community cleanup event with parking available at 319 N. Main Avenue.
