Missouri Job Center Hosts Multi-Industry Job Fair
The Missouri Job Center is hosting a Multi-Industry Job Fair on Wednesday, May 17, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Job Center located at 2900 E. Sunshine in Springfield. The job fair features more than 30 area employers with wide-ranging jobs in manufacturing, healthcare, IT, retail, government and more.
Participating employers include: Advanced Restorations, Cintas, Erlen Group (Springfield Underground), Great Southern Bank, Jordan Valley Community Health Center, Lifetime Destinations, Mediacom, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Positronic, SGC Food Service, The Arc of the Ozarks, T-Mobile, ABEC, QPS Employment Group, Greene County, Mercy, Pigment Painters, Burrell Behavioral Health, Jack Henry, Myers/Buckhorn, Missouri Prime Beef, Terra Star Poly, Central Bank, O’Reilly Hospitality, DSS Family Support Division, DSS Children’s Division, Easy Living, Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, Walmart, TTEC, Phoenix Home Care and Hospice, Quality Clean Janitorial Service, Kum & Go, Penmac, Bass Pro Shops, Springfield Public Schools and City of Springfield.
Job seekers should bring copies of their resume and be prepared for possible on-site interviews. Job Center staff are available to help with resumes prior to the event. The Job Center also has a Career Closet to help job seekers with interview appropriate clothing and accessories. This resource is free to anyone looking for employment.
