Glenn Avenue will close for approximately two months between Division Street and Calhoun Street beginning 7 a.m., Monday, June 19 for the widening of Glenn Avenue and sidewalk improvements.
The Glenn Street Safety and Accessibility Improvement Project located in the Bissett Neighborhood will include the widening of north Glenn Avenue between Calhoun and Hovey streets with curb and a crosswalk. The project is expected to cost approximately $100,000 funded through the 1/4-cent Capital Improvement Sales Tax Neighborhood Works program. Neighborhood Works is intended to fund small-scale capital improvements within registered neighborhoods and provides residents the opportunity to identify projects they believe will offer the greatest benefit to their area.
