Southbound lane of Kimbrough Avenue to close between St. Louis and Elm streets June 26-28

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Southbound Kimbrough Avenue will close to through traffic between St. Louis and Elm streets in Downtown Springfield beginning 7 a.m. Monday, June 26 through 5 p.m., June 28 (weather permitting) for City Utilities to complete utility improvements. Northbound traffic will remain open. 

Access will be maintained to all local businesses and properties. 

Southbound motorists are advised to follow the posted detour via St. Louis Street, JQH Parkway and Elm Street.
