3200 E Cherry Street to close at the BNSF railroad crossing Aug. 14-21

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

3200 East Cherry Street will close at the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad crossing beginning at 6 a.m., Monday, Aug. 14 through Monday, Aug. 21 for the replacement of the roadway surface by the BNSF Railway Company. 

Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. 

This project has been accelerated through a cost-share partnership between the City of Springfield and the BNSF Railway Company, with the City's portion provided through the 1/8-cent Transportation Sales Tax.
