Update: Brattin was located in Lincoln, Mo. He is safe with law enforcement and waiting to be reunited with family.
The Springfield Police Department is investigating a report of a missing and endangered person and is asking for the public’s assistance. Jack L. Brattin, 86, was last seen at 1:45 p.m. today at his home in the 800 block of W. Village Street which is near the area of Campbell and Walnut Lawn. Brattin suffers from dementia. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, wears glasses and has short white hair and blue eyes. He could also be driving a white 2002 Cadillac DTS with Missouri license plates, JLBDOT.
Anyone with information regarding Brattin’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
