Missouri Job Center to host hiring events for Lowe's Springfield locations on 2/24

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and the Missouri Job Center will assist the two Springfield Lowe's locations with hiring more than 100 seasonal positions this month.

On Wednesday, Feb. 24, the Missouri Job Center's Mobile Career Center will be on site 9-11:30 a.m. providing resume and online application assistance at the south Springfield location at 1850 E. Primrose, and 1:30-4 p.m. at the north Springfield location at 1707 W. Norton Road.

The Job Center will also host closed interviews 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 29 at its location at 2900 E. Sunshine. To reserve a time slot to interview with either Springfield Lowe's location, applicants may contact Dennis Wiggins at 417-841-3310 or dwiggins@springfieldmo.gov.

Online applications must be complete prior to the interview time. Resume assistance and the Career Closet are available prior to the event at the Missouri Job Center. Job seekers are encouraged to come prepared, appropriately dressed, and with completed resumes.

The Ozark Region Workforce Investment Board and Missouri Job Center-Ozark Region serve Christian, Dallas, Polk, Stone, Taney and Webster counties and has locations in Springfield and Branson. Services are also provided via the mobile career center.
