The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and the Missouri Job Center will be hosting a multi-industry hiring event on Thursday, March 24, 2016. The hiring event will from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Missouri Job Center, 2900 E. Sunshine St., Springfield, MO 65804.
Resume assistance and the Career Closet are available prior to March 24th at the Missouri Job Center. Job seekers are encouraged to come prepared, appropriately dressed, and with completed resumes.
There are 44 businesses registered to attend representing a variety of industries and positions. Employers present include Bass Pro, the City of Springfield, Commerce Bank, CoxHealth, Exel, Lowe's, Mercy, Ramada Plaza and Oasis Convention Center, and many more.
The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and Missouri Job Center serve the counties of Christian, Dallas, Polk, Stone, Taney, and Webster. The Region boasts two Job Centers (Springfield and Branson), as well as a Mobile Career Center. The Region has a long history of working with job seekers and businesses to meet the workforce needs of our community.
