FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Springfield Police Department is investigating a string of robberies that occurred early Tuesday morning. In each of three of the morning’s robberies, one or two males entered the convenience stores, displayed guns and took undisclosed amounts of cash from the businesses.
12:37 a.m., 1313 W. Battlefield
The suspect was described as a black male in his early twenties. He is approximately 5 feet 5 inches, 120 pounds, and he was wearing a gray hoodie, a blue denim vest over the hoodie and a blue and white bandana over his face.
1:32 a.m., 2953 N. NationalThe suspect was described as a black male. He is approximately 5 feet 10 inches, 190 pounds, and he was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, either red gloves or bandanas on his hands and a bandana over his face.
2:45 a.m., 1605 E. Kearney
Two suspects were involved in this robbery. One was described similarly to the suspect who committed the robbery on Battlefield, and the other was described similarly to the suspect who committed the robbery on National.
Attached photos (below) are from surveillance footage that captured the robbery at 1605 E. Kearney where both suspects were involved.
