FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and the Missouri Job Center will be hosting a Manufacturing Specific Hiring Event on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. The hiring event will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Missouri Job Center, 2900 E. Sunshine St., Springfield, MO 65804. The Construction Industry has stressed the importance and need of additional workers as the season progresses. The Manufacturing Specific Hiring Event is an opportunity for job seekers to meet with a variety of businesses representing the variety of positions available within the industry. The current list of employers attending is Southern Missouri Containers (SMC), UnderCover Inc., Loren Cook Company, WestRock, Red Monkey Foods, ABEC, Mid-Am Metal Forming Inc., HydroClean, EFCO, Kelly Services, Kraft-Heinz, Digital Monitoring Products (DMP), Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), Crossroads Designs, Positronics Industries, and Reckitt Benckiser/French's Foods. The list of attending employers is subject to change up to and including the day of the event. Resume assistance and the Career Closet are available prior to the day of the event at the Missouri Job Center. Job seekers are encouraged to dress appropriately, bring up-to-date copies of their resume, and bring a sheet of prior work experience and references for the online application. The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and Missouri Job Center serve the counties of Christian, Dallas, Greene, Polk, Stone, Taney, and Webster. The Region boasts two Missouri Job Center locations (Springfield and Branson), as well as a Mobile Career Center.
