FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and the Missouri Job Center will be assisting Silver Dollar City with two hiring events for their four Branson properties. The hiring events will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11 at Silver Dollar City, 399 Silver Dollar City Parkway, Branson, MO 65616. The end time for both events will depend on the number of appointments scheduled, but applicants are encouraged to come early in the day to ensure they will secure an interview. Applicants are encouraged to use the Silver Dollar City service entrance off Highway 76, and then follow signs to the event location at the Red Gold Heritage Hall. The Missouri Job Center's Mobile Career Center will be available for resume and online application assistance.
Full-time and part-time seasonal positions will be available for all four Branson properties: Silver Dollar City, Showboat Branson Belle, White Water, and The Wilderness Campground. Many of the seasonal jobs will run from March-Jan. 1, 2018; however, there are also short-season, three-to-four month opportunities available.
Silver Dollar City states, "We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, dedicated, and team-oriented candidates who are committed to excellent guest service. Join us and become a part of the biggest family in Branson, as you work alongside teammates and supervisors who'll treat you with respect, teach you new skills and empower you to advance your career - all while encouraging you to have fun on the job!"
Benefits include free Silver Dollar City tickets for employees and their guests, access to a low-cost, fully-staffed health clinic for qualifying employees and their eligible dependents, and reduced/free admission to many of Branson’s most popular shows and attractions, as well as other regional theme parks.
The hiring event is an open invitation; no appointment is necessary. Resume assistance and the Career Closet are available at the Missouri Job Center at 2720 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, Suite B, in Branson prior to the event. Job seekers are encouraged to come prepared, appropriately dressed, and with completed resumes.
