Direction of stop sign to change at the intersection of McClernon Street and Kentwood Avenue

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Springfield Public Works will be moving the stop sign at the intersection of Kentwood Avenue and McClernon Street from northbound Kentwood Avenue to eastbound McClernon Street beginning Friday, March 3.

This change is being made after a traffic study was conducted in response to citizen concerns.

The eastbound intersection approach will be clearly marked to alert drivers to the change.
