Missouri Job Center to assist with two multi-industry hiring events next week

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 

The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and the Missouri Job Center have partnered with the City of Branson and the Taney County Partnership’s OnPoint for a Branson Community Hiring Event. The event will be on Tuesday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Branson Convention Center, 200 E Sycamore St. There will be on the spot hiring from a variety of employers and opportunities including both seasonal and year-round positions. The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and the Missouri Job Center will be hosting the second multi-industry hiring event of 2017 on Thursday, May 4 from 12-4 p.m. at the main location, 2900 E Sunshine, Springfield, MO 65804. All attending employers are actively recruiting for open positions. Attending employers include Bass Pro, Central Bank of the Ozarks, Citizens Memorial Hospital, City of Springfield, Dairy Farmers of America, Delco Construction, Loren Cook Company, Paul Mueller Company, SRC, and more. Resume assistance and the Career Closet are available prior to the events at the Branson Missouri Job Center and main Springfield Missouri Job Center locations. Job seekers are encouraged to come prepared with a thirty second elevator pitch, appropriately dressed, and with completed resumes.

 The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and Missouri Job Center serve the counties of Christian, Dallas, Greene, Polk, Stone, Taney, and Webster. The Ozark Region boasts three Missouri Job Center locations (Branson, North Springfield, and Springfield), as well as a Mobile Career Center.
