Jefferson Avenue to close between Powell Street and Arrowhead Street Aug. 9-14

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Jefferson Avenue will close between Powell Street and Arrowhead Street beginning 7 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9 through 5 p.m. Aug. 14 for street replacement work. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route and use caution when traveling through work zones.

Work along Jefferson Avenue between Walnut Lawn Street and Jewett Place will be wrapping up and the roadway reopened mid-day Aug. 9.

Construction activities along this section of Jefferson Avenue will be completed in time for the start of school on Wednesday, Aug. 15.
