WHERE: Springfield Fire Department Station 8, 1405 S. Scenic.
Cooking-related fires are the No. 1 cause of house fires and fire-related injuries in Springfield. Often, injuries are caused and damage worsened by the occupant's inappropriate response to these types of fires. The Springfield Fire Department will hold this safety demonstration to show how to properly extinguish a cooking-related fire.
