Rezoning request for former Palace Theater will not be heard at tonight's City Council meeting

MEDIA ALERT

A request for a zoning change that would allow the former Palace Theater at 2220 W.  Chesterfield to be replaced by a church will not be heard by City Council at tonight’s meeting.

The issue is still being considered by the Planning & Zoning Commission, after a May 5 tie vote. The public notice signs indicating a public hearing would take place at tonight’s May 30 City Council meeting were erected prior to the May 5 P&Z meeting. 

New signs will be posted with a revised schedule for a June 15 P&Z meeting at the Planning and Zoning Commission and a July 10 public hearing before City Council.
