At Tuesday's Council Lunch, Director of Building Development Services (BDS) Chris Straw will propose a plan for improving the City’ s ability to address chronic nuisance properties and buildings/houses that are deemed to be dangerous structures. Although the proposal addresses the issues citywide, the measures Straw is bringing forward specifically target one of the top concerns voiced by residents in Springfield’s northwest quadrant (Zone 1) during the May 2015 Community Listen Tour and follow-up Zone Blitz.
Council Lunch will be held at noon in Room L-45 of the Busch Municipal Building.
