FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
South Avenue just north of Primrose Street will be closed May 8-15 for gas and water relocation work on the Primrose Street Widening Project – South Avenue to Kimbrough Avenue.
The project widens Primrose Street to five lanes between South Avenue and Kimbrough Avenue. The project includes the addition of bike lanes, sidewalks, storm sewer, curb and gutter, gas and water renewals, traffic signal upgrades at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Primrose Street and a sewer extension.
The project is funded by the 1/4-cent Capital Improvement Sales Tax.
