Mayor McClure publicly thanks Scott Miller for dedicated service

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Springfield Mayor Ken McClure would like to publicly thank Scott Miller for his years of dedicated service to City Utilities and the citizens of Springfield.

“The community has been very fortunate to have such a superb leader at the helm of a strong utility,” McClure said. “The community-owned City Utilities is a great asset that is a true partner in the growth of the city.”

Miller was named General Manager in 2011. CU is a progressive, community-owned utility serving southwest Missouri with electricity, natural gas, water, broadband, and transit services. CU’s customers enjoy electricity prices among the lowest in the United States, the convenience of one bill for all utilities, and dependable hometown services.
