Missouri Job Center Hosts Multi-Industry Roundtable
The Missouri Job Center invites business and industry leaders from all sectors to take part in a Multi-Industry Roundtable discussion on Thursday, November 21, 7:30 am, at the Missouri Job Center, 2900 E. Sunshine, Springfield. The discussion will be facilitated by United Way CEO Greg Burris.
“We really want to create an opportunity where representatives from all industries can sit together and discuss issues they are facing as well as share ideas,” said Dennis Wiggins, Business Services Supervisor with the Missouri Job Center. “Roundtable events like this are so important to the Job Center as they help guide us in developing programs or services that help businesses succeed,” Wiggins said.
Some of the topics participants will be discussing include workplace policies on drug testing, reasons for absenteeism and ghosting. If a company would like to send a representative, a limited number of spots remain. To RSVP, contact Jennifer Biri at [email protected].
