FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Division Street will close between Jefferson Avenue and Clay Avenue beginning 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 21 through 6 a.m., Monday, Feb. 24 for City Utilities contractors to install new water mains across the roadway.
Northbound and southbound traffic will be allowed through all cross-street intersections. All eastbound and westbound traffic will be directed to use the posted detour via Robberson Avenue, Pacific Street and Sherman Avenue.
Large truck traffic is advised to detour along Booneville Avenue, Chestnut Expressway, and Sherman Avenue.
Access will be maintained to all homes with driveways off of Division Street.
