Missouri Job Center North Office to Temporarily Close

The Missouri Job Center North Office located at 1443 N. Robberson, in the CoxHealth North Medical Tower, will close indefinitely effective today to help combat the spread of the corona virus. The south side location at 2900 E. Sunshine will remain open so job seekers and the general public may access the full services of the Job Center.

“We felt this was in the best interest of the public and our staff to help minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This move is a precautionary measure and we expect to reopen the Job Center North once the threat has diminished,” said Sally Payne, Interim Director of the Department of Workforce Development.

Additionally, the Minimum Wage Forum planned for March 31, has been cancelled in keeping with the CDC and Health Department guidelines of restricting events of more than 50 people. Please check our Facebook and Twitter accounts for up-to-date information on hiring event cancellations or postponements.

For more information, contact Katherine Trombetta at ktrombetta@springfieldmo.gov or 417-880-6306.
