Missouri Job Center South and Branson Offices Close to the Public
The Missouri Job Center South Office located at 2900 E. Sunshine and the Branson affiliate office located at 2720 Shepherd of the Hills Expwy, will close to the public effective today to help combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Job Center staff in both locations will report to work and be available by phone or email to assist the public. Earlier in the week the Job Center North office was temporarily closed and those staff are now working out of the south-side location.
“At the East Sunshine location, the Division of Family Services will still see clients, but there will be no job center staff available to meet with job seekers,” said Sally Payne, Interim Director of Workforce Development at the Missouri Job Center.
“We felt this was in the best interest of our staff to help minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This move is a precautionary measure and we will evaluate weekly as to reopening following the directive of the state and city,” Payne said.
