Missouri Job Center and City of Springfield Host Facebook Live Event Today
The Department of Workforce Development and the City of Springfield is hosting a Facebook Live Event on the Economic Impact of COVID-19 on the local community today at 2 pm. The event will be live streamed on the Facebook pages of the Missouri Job Center and the City of Springfield.
Panelists will answer questions on a range of topics related to small business resources as well as unemployment benefits and employment resources. Panelists include Sally Payne, Interim Director of Workforce Development for the City of Springfield; Carmen May, Career Services Supervisor Missouri Job Center; Matt Morrow, President of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce; and Robin Robeson, Chief Operating Officer for Guaranty Bank.
Members of the media are asked to text questions to Cora Scott at 417-380-3352. All other questions may be posted on the Facebook page of the Missouri Job Center Ozark Region.
