Missouri Job Center Hosting Facebook Live Event Today
The Missouri Job Center is hosting an informational session through Facebook Live today at 2 pm, to discuss how the Job Center will be helping people get back to work in the coming months. The informational session will feature Mardy Leathers, Director of Workforce Development for the State of Missouri, Sally Payne, Interim Director of Workforce Development for the City of Springfield and Tracy Polk, Skills Supervisor for the Missouri Job Center.
Topics of discussion include training opportunities for those who have permanently lost their job due to the COVID-19 pandemic through Missouri’s Dislocated Worker program, as well as available apprenticeships and other training opportunities both virtual and in-person.
