MEDIA ALERT
The City of Springfield and the Springfield-Greene County Health Department will host a media briefing at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Training Room of the Public Safety Center, 330 W. Scott.
We ask that members of the media—one per outlet—arrive 10-15 minutes early for a health screening, wear a face cover and practice physical distancing while in the briefing.
The briefing will provide an update on disease prevalence and discuss COVID-19 prevention as college students return to the area.
Media can utilize footage from a pool camera but will be spaced to maintain physical distancing. Reporters and the public can continue to tune in to the livestream on the City’s and Health Department’s Facebook pages or at https://cityview.springfieldmo.gov/livestream/.
