Springfield Police Investigate N. Robberson Homicide
On September 1, 2020, at 12:19 p.m., Springfield police were dispatched to 2257 N. Robberson after a citizen heard gunshots from the residence and called 911. When officers arrived, they found a deceased male subject inside the residence with apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was identified as Shad Brown, a 39-year-old male from Springfield, Missouri, and next of kin notifications were made.
Investigators were initially searching for a U-Haul truck in relation to this case, but that vehicle has been located and is no longer being sought.
Detectives continue to investigate and are asking anyone who has information about this incident to contact the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1810 or make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 417-869-TIPS (8477).
