On behalf of Springfield City Council and the City of Springfield, Mayor Ken McClure expresses his sincere condolences to the family of Ed Pinegar, a local businessman who died Saturday after a lifetime of contributing to the community. "Ed and his family have been close personal friends for years," Mayor McClure said of the founder of the car dealership that included his own name, Pinegar Chevrolet. "I have deep appreciation for all that Ed has done to help make the Ozarks a great place to live. He leaves behind a positive legacy."
