MEDIA ALERT
Leaders from the City of Springfield, Greene County, Springfield-Greene County Health Department, CoxHealth, Mercy Springfield and the Missouri Foundation for Health will provide a media briefing at 2 p.m. today, Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, in the training room of the Public Safety Center at 330 W. Scott.
The briefing will renew the City’s call for a statewide masking mandate and stress the importance of following current guidelines of the City’s Road to Recovery order as the toll of COVID-19 continues to loom over our community and local health care systems.
We ask that members of the media -- one per outlet -- arrive 10-15 minutes early for a health screening. Please wear a face mask and practice physical distancing while in the briefing.
Media can utilize footage from a pool camera but will be spaced to maintain physical distancing. Reporters and the public can continue to tune in to the livestream on the City's and Health Department's Facebook pages or at https://cityview.springfieldmo.gov/livestream/.
