City seeking volunteers for Police Civilian Review Board

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE  

The City of Springfield is looking for people interested in joining the Police Civilian Review Board (PCRB). The board reviews citizen appeals of determinations made by the Police Department about specific police conduct matters and comments to the City Council through the City Manager. 

Members meet the first Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Busch Municipal Building second floor west conference room, 840 Boonville. Requirements include two years of residency and rules outlined in set out in Special Ordinance 27410 and City Charter section 15.5.

There are currently three openings on this board.
