Danny Perches hired as City’s Development Project Facilitator


UnknownThe City of Springfield has named Danny Perches to the new position of development project facilitator, effective March 29. This position will be an extension of the City Manager’s Office and will regularly review the status of all development projects, work directly with developers, designer and contracts to move projects efficiently through the development review process and identify and recommend development process and other changes to management. 

Perches most recently served as the project manager for economic development at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. There he was responsible for coordinating with local and statewide partners on the expansion of local companies and the attraction of new companies to the Springfield region. Prior to joining the chamber, he worked for the City of Springfield as the Workforce Investment Board liaison, managing industry-wide projects serving the stainless steel, manufacturing and corporate services section.

"I am excited to serve the City of Springfield as the development project facilitator,” Perches said. “My experience assisting Springfield’s business community has given me a great appreciation for those in the development sector working to build our community from the ground up. I look forward to working alongside new and experienced developers and City staff alike to improve the development process.”

Perches has a bachelor of science in psychology from Missouri State University and a master of science in industrial and organizational psychology. His base salary will be $60,000.
