Missouri Job Center Locations Return to Normal Operations Starting March 15
The Missouri Job Center offices in Springfield and Branson will return to normal operations beginning Monday, March 15. This means no appointment is required to enter, however, masking, social distancing and occupancy guidelines will remain in place.
With the rate of infection on the decrease we’ve received guidance from the State Office of Workforce Development that we can reopen to the public without appointments, said Sally Payne, Interim Director of Workforce Development for the City of Springfield. “Masking and social distancing guidelines as well as occupancy limits will still be adhered to along with extra sanitizing of computers and other equipment,” Payne added.
The Missouri Job Center has three locations in the Ozark Region, two in Springfield at 2900 E. Sunshine and 1126 N. Broadway. There is also an office in Branson at 2720 Shepherd of the Hills Expwy.
“With several new companies coming to the area and current employers expanding operations, now is a great time to get help updating your resume. If someone has a gap in employment due to the pandemic we can certainly offer guidance on how to handle that question on an application or during an interview,” Payne said.
