FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
City Council will meet today at noon to discuss placing a COVID-19 regulations ordinance on the agenda of an upcoming council meeting. At its March 22 meeting, council passed a resolution that provides a framework from the Springfield-Greene County Health Department for safely reducing the City’s COVID-19 restrictions in a phased step-out plan.
The Health Department’s COVID-19 dashboard is updated daily, Monday through Friday, so the public can view the current status and track the progress being made toward the next phases. Springfield is currently in the red phase.
Tune in to the meeting live on the City’s Facebook page (CityofSGF) or at cityview.springfieldmo.gov/livestream.
