In conjunction with the City's Clean Green Springfield city-wide cleanup initiative, merchants from Historic Commercial Street are planning a trash pickup along the corridor beginning 9 a.m., Saturday, April 17.

Organizer Lyle Foster asks those who are interested to convene at that time at the public parking lot on Campbell Avenue and Blaine Street (1/2-block south of Commercial Street behind Lindberg’s).

Register to participate at www.cleangreenSGF.com and indicate “Team C-Street” as the organization and select “one-time roadway cleanup” as the option.

Registrants can pick up their free Clean Green tshirt and volunteer packet at a drive-thru packet pickup event 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Friday, April 16 outside the City's Environmental Resource Center at 290 E. Central Street.
