Department of Workforce Development Launches New Podcast
The Department of Workforce Development in conjunction with the City of Springfield is launching a new podcast series exploring topics related to Workforce Development, economic vitality and quality of place. The first episodes will release July 27 and will be available on most major podcast platforms.
Workforce Vibe will be hosted by Sally Payne, Interim Director of Workforce Development for the City of Springfield. In addition, community leaders will join Sally each episode to discuss what factors play into recruiting and retaining talent in Springfield area and beyond. The first two episodes will feature guests Cora Scott and Tim Rosenbury from the City of Springfield and Francine Pratt from Prosper Springfield.
“I am thrilled to be hosting the first podcast produced by the City of Springfield to engage employers and job seekers on solutions to the current employment climate,” said Sally Payne. “By sharing information and ideas I hope to offer suggestions to employers on how to attract talent and keep them around once they are hired,” she said.
“Each podcast will feature guests who bring a unique perspective and can offer valuable insight into how to make Springfield a great place to live and work,” Payne added.
