Missouri Job Center Hosts First Responder Job Fair

The Missouri Job Center is hosting a First Responder Job Fair on Thursday, October 21 from 9 am to 1 pm at the Job Center located at 2900 E. Sunshine in Springfield. First responder agencies from the City of Springfield, Christian County and the City of Branson will be on site to visit with those interested in a career in public service.

“We are excited to host this event and highlight the need for police, fire and 911 telecommunicators in our region,” said Sally Payne, Director of Workforce Development for the City of Springfield. These jobs play a vital role in the safety and well-being of our local communities and these careers will always be in demand,” Payne said. 

The job fair is open to anyone considering a career in public service. Area first responder agencies wanting to participate, contact Dennis Wiggins, Business Services Supervisor, at 417-841-3310 or [email protected]
